We Don't Do That In This Kingdom

There are things that ordinarily, we are prone to do, but when we enter into God's Kingdom, the kingdom of the Highest, the Kingdom that has reigned from ages past, is reigning, and will reign forever, our perspectives change (now, if yours hasn't, then, please be more attentive, there's something you're not seeing) and what we usually term as drive will be ditched. It's the reality. So, we lose those drives inspired by Hollywood dream, and we pick up new focuses like, being a more attentive fellow, being humble, working with heart and diligence, choosing peace (oh, this one hurts real bad!), and so on, and honestly, you may have a few scars on the way (Jesus did too). Sometime last year (2025), when I looked at a billboard picture of really young musician and remembered that she's younger than I was, I just cried within...looking at my life. I became sorry for myself, I was asking my inner self all the questions (you know that feeling). Right there, it just clicked that hey, this is not vision here, this is greed, this is comparison, this is evil, I can't now sulk because she is up there and my head isn't; I have cares, concerns, real important stuff too: I have my parents there to take care of, I have my siblings who need me, the church, my friends, the precious people in my space, and that our paths are different. Kudos, and glory to God for her, but I'm not going to beat myself up because I saw her head on a billboard. If until I see a billboard picture, I won't be intentional with my life, then, I have a problem-what if the billboard wasn't there? I reminded myself that now, I have a new chase, a new agenda, and it's not to be on a billboard. If it will be needed for me, so be it! But it will never be my pursuit. Thinking about it now, that's just ridiculous. There are lives out there in need of hope, people facing depression daily from bad administration, unintentional leaders, greedy officials, and just hurting people, there are people in need of healing-whose hearts are aching, people who are losing their minds, people who need real help, but are just trying to get by life, holding on a thread before they just pass out, people carrying burdens and debts they never bargained for, etc. So, many gaps in my own society that needs attention that no man has ever paid attention to, these things and more that need my attention than appearing on a billboard picture over roadways holding people looking for that saviour. Yes, there are more things to worry about. And Yes, I put it to you, don't think you can't do anything. That friend you know may need your prayers, that mum may need your visit, that man may need your attention-he probably can't come to share his issues with you, but don't act like everything is okay...many ways we could throw some light to a world that's literally dying, everyone may close up and appear good, but you can't deny that you see so, launch out, help somebody, that may be your own bold step to making our world a better place. Because if I show little care to you, you will show another, and they will to others, and gradually light spreads and everybody becomes happy just because I started it. Don't think to much, don't think too big, look around and start something. It may just be your voice people have been waiting for. Who knows?
